Science at Sedgefield

• We aim to offer relevant, exciting and challenging courses that suit the needs of our students.
• We have two specialist teachers in Chemistry and Physics and three in Biology, supported by two technicians.
• We are also involved in the training and development of new teachers.
• In addition to the formal Science Curriculum, the faculty offers a Science Club running on a Wednesday night.
• From time to time there are Science trips, in recent years we have been to the Centre for Life in Newcastle and this year there is a Year 9 trip to the USA.
